How Daily Anchor Adapts
Daily Anchor keeps the daily action simple. As enough history builds for a goal, the pattern in its recorded check-ins can shape how closely Daily Anchor checks in — and you remain in control of the cadence and the goal.
No perfect streak is required. The value comes from an honest record that gives the accountability something real to respond to.
The pattern comes from your check-ins.
Daily Anchor uses the check-in history recorded for each goal. YES and NO are both answered check-ins. A missed check-in means no response was recorded.
Those signals stay distinct because they say different things about the check-in itself. Daily Anchor does not assume why a particular day went the way it did.
Each goal stands on its own.
If you have more than one goal, Daily Anchor considers each goal separately. One goal can develop a different pattern, cadence, or future suggestion from another. The history for one goal does not set the rhythm for the others.
Check-in cadence can adjust over time.
As enough history develops, sustained answered follow-through can support a move toward a lighter cadence. Repeated NOs or missed check-ins can keep accountability closer.
Any change happens one goal at a time and is based on the recorded check-in pattern. It is not a judgment about effort, character, or whether the goal matters enough.
Your choice takes priority.
Daily Anchor can adapt the default cadence, but it does not take cadence control away from you. If you choose a cadence for the goal, your preference takes priority.
Sometimes adaptation means reviewing the goal.
After enough answered check-ins, the recent pattern may support a different kind of suggestion.
If follow-through has remained difficult, Daily Anchor may invite you to review whether the goal still fits. If the goal has become highly consistent, it may invite you to consider an optional next step.
Goal Calibration
Daily Anchor calls this optional review Goal Calibration. It can suggest that you reconsider a difficult goal or consider a progression, but it never rewrites the goal for you.
A Goal Calibration suggestion is not a grade, diagnosis, or guarantee that something should change. It is an invitation to look at the pattern and decide what makes sense for you.
The decision stays yours.
Your history stays with the goal.
If you choose to change a goal, the earlier history remains preserved instead of being overwritten. The updated goal begins with daily check-ins so it can establish a new pattern.
When you renew, your existing goals and history can continue into the next cycle rather than forcing a blank-slate restart. You can still make the changes that fit the next cycle.
What current adaptive decisions use
Current adaptive decisions are grounded in the recorded check-in history for the goal: answered YES or NO check-ins and missed check-ins, kept distinct and considered over time.
What current adaptive decisions do not use
They do not use AI or machine learning, whether you opened or clicked an email, or hidden predictions about your motivation to decide the current adaptive cadence or Goal Calibration.
Daily Anchor also does not know why you answered NO or missed a check-in. It works from the recorded pattern without inventing a story about you.
What stays simple
The adaptive mechanics sit behind the same straightforward daily action: keep your goal in view, answer honestly, and continue from the day you actually had.
You do not need to manage the mechanics to use Daily Anchor. The deeper explanation is here so you can understand what can change, what cannot, and where the choice remains yours.
